SmileGRL, I am listening to Loreena Mckennitt now and your poem resonates with the haunting melody. I love this deep and profound poem. It takes me to a place of beauty and longing. There is so much gentle strength reflected in your poetry. I love to immerse myself in your words.

Thank you for not letting this lay around - this is like driving a road in the mountains that follows a river & coming around a bend in that road and seeing a HUGE stone in the river just sitting there big as a house, so big that the fast water can't move it at all. Instead it is the water that must respond to the presence of the stone, parting to flow around it & rejoining itself on the downstream side. The whole poem is my favorite part. If you had let this one lay around and no one had ever seen it, that would have been a real shame.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

bennie...don't burry her yet because she disappeared for a few seconds, days, years into the sunset she was just trying to ride the wind that blew her away blew her into a pile of dead leaves where she drowned in his glass of wine trying to swim but it was too late and the horses were all plastic and couldn't save her from her own aching heart. and how to send a beating heart when your heart is barely beating still recovering from the last hurricane that spew miniature horses like hundreds and thousands but only a hundred and thirty nine round and round the merry go round and how do you get off this damn thing without getting dizzy

john...swim on, my friend. you are always welcome. (there's not enough smiley faces on this forum...to find the right one for you)

tHeMingo...so very cool. thank you sir. if i couldn't read your reply, that would have been a real shame 8)
