As if we could
turn a page with
another year.
I feel we our on
the cusp of Lord
Buckley's razor's
flip, hands too numb
to feel the grip & all
we can do is hold
is hold on to that
tiger by the tail.

I'm on the approach
my weave all dusty
I inspect the small even the puny
where it's growing out the rock
I park cars and
pass out harps
but it's wintertime
don't mow no yards
I get a shock when
I touch the open wire
I think there's too much pomp
don't look like it's gonna stop
gonna jam
gonna open a shop
adopt an army and go beyond all the tired bondage
O comrade !
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

in some secret cave
some inner sanctum
we share tales and forge deeds
we will speak
we will do
in our chosen world
and our chosen way

Never planned to jam.
Just happened and now it grows.
Maybe should be moved to GO!

endless daze
marked by oblivion
expressways to the heart
they pass so fast
already another holiday (MLK day)
still we jam in the sticky
never wanting to relinquish
this immortal flow
the past a memory, a thread
of what was, the future a mystery
a glimmer on the horizon
of what's to come
because there is only the "to be"
the "not be" is never known?
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
