I’m into you and let’s just leave it there

Post by joel » May 15th, 2007, 11:15 pm

I’m into you and let’s just leave it there—
I’m into you—and you don’t even know
and that’s alright for now—forever not
perhaps—so in the long run, please catch on.
I picked a hand of water stones to throw
like antelope stampedes away—and got
a new idea: waterfalls I spawn
within the middle of my oceans flow
instinctively as robots, led and sought
from sources past to hoped-for futures—gone—
I don’t know what it means to love you, so
I’m unaware how you’d divide a lot
of wants from truer, lower needs dead-on.
—communication doesn’t clear the air.

This poem made a really cool mantra pop into my head!
"Breathing clears the air, deep, long, mind-emptying, cleansing breaths."
Your poems always give me some sort of message that's timely.
I dig reading them.

Thanks, H, for sharing your mantra. Awesome meditation for a morning sun salutation and good for my little talks with the divine. hope you don't mind me borrowing/appropriating....
