the mouth of my ordinary

my colour is ordinary
and in-between my happenings
no shades pursue it
there are no shadows to
weave round me like a stream
no twilight, no dream
just the voice of night
her quiet persuasions
and the easiness of the moon
i watch her take off her gown
O, how she silences the wind
but the sea, O the sea
holds her broken
all ground up and boisterous
landing it’s moans there
at the mouth of my ordinary
dragging back the pages
with sand songs.
