Cyber-pup and the season opener

The new season, the fall line-up, the holiday season, the season of mists, not to say homecoming week, the thrills of victory and the agonies of defeat: these are not cyber-pup's. Cyber-pup is not one for Praxis; he more of the Theorie sort. He checks the financial news for suicides, editorial pages for hints of a red sunrise; he detests celebrities and that is to his credit, though fallen among cafe society and other assorted yentas, he rereads Nietzsche late at night after surfing some soft-core, and I am not really permitted to make an inference about the contents of his sensations, but I imagine cyber-pup likes some resentment with his latte.
Nebraska are up against OK State, Tommy Trojan and the Baby Bears, the Flighty Irish, the Heat, the Cavaliers, the Oakland Rockpipes, the Red and the Black, the Black and the Gold, the Jack Nicholson Courtside Forest Lawn Memorial, Tigers, Texas A & M, Texas Tech, Miami Ohio: they are marching towards victory, as are current liberation forces, and it's pledge week for Sigma Beta Omega and any number of other Hotel Rufies, but cyber-pup, marginalized, can't quite place the Good Ship Lollipop within his circumference of meaning. He needs a gal, not a yenta; and there are some whores he might consider, though they would pick his pockets of his dad's money, or have their pimp roll him in the Econolodge parking lot, probably.
