1.
look down
over a ravine
look down look down
look down rumble
fall
thru yr thoughts
look down look down
fall
look down look down
jump
thru a rush
of gusting wind
over a ravine
a bridge
over a ravine
look down look down
cry
look down look down
fly
up & up & up & up
from the depths
of reflective instances
of mesmerism
in a reflection
in a pool
i drown'd
inna looking glass
drown'd in my self
look down look down
fall
look down look down
claw
the air
2.
wanto get home
up & over
in what's
afternoon's glare
& love
the best.
sun set over there
i'm in a train
on a bridge
over a river
nexto the window
this snake-machine
is packed with people
i've unintentionally
collided with many people
& i'm not even moving.
i even accidentally
marked on a gentleman's
arm with my pen.
the sun cuts
through i-beams
to the back
of my neck,
side of my face,
my hat.
the pure glare
off the river,
the sun's cut toward night,
heats the sunset bricks
& george washington's statue
& all the people
who just wanto get home.
look down
over a ravine
look down look down
look down rumble
fall
thru yr thoughts
look down look down
