So it seems that I'm in love.
this thing without description.
But I can't place what stands wrong.
Just... there without an explanation.

Is it that my eyes are the wrong color,
Bright green instead of a deep, sea blue?
Or maybe my hair is the wrong length...
oh please, just give me a clue.

But I can't pretend that I don't care
if you feel repulsed when holding my hand.
If you don't want me, then don't have me.
And I'll be free to run to a faraway land.

I'll join Peter Pan and never look back,
to this horrible thing you call "reality."
You'll try to stop me, but I'll fight back.
Fly second star to the right and Straight on until Insanity.

Possibly fly with Tinkerbell,
Or, maybe, swim with mermaids.
I'll fight beside Peter against Captain Hook,
and we'll use the indians as our aids.

But... just as the fairytale goes,
in the end I must go home.
To live my life as just another girl,
who, in the end, is all alone.

what doesn't make sense to me is this: why would anyone have a problem with verdant green eyes? not that i have anything against the blues or browns or hazels or slates...but the greens? c'mon. they're green!
