I Miss My Coma

Post by Lightning Rod » November 26th, 2007, 11:29 pm

we were both figments
of each other's imagination

when each saw the other
we were seeing what we wanted to see

the merciful blindness of love
the blessed, blessed blindness

to see ourselves through another's eyes
and to like what we see, that's the blessing

if love is a persistent vegetative state
it doesn't last forever. Eventually you wake up.

I miss my coma

me too

i think it has something to do with believing....

when i lost my faith,
i lost so much

it's hard being a loser
i lose game after game after game after game

Long time since I thought of Phil Bryzman
He used to tell me about love
How you meet someone and fall madly in love
it is only later that you notice slight imperfections
like cleft pallets

interesting poem
