vacation diluted illusion

one small spoon of fantasy
the marble vessel reeks of ancient priestess potential
ylang ylang languishes
stir toga, upswept arms
inanna and hanna and jocheved
sisters dance upon slate steamboat river
bessie smith chants the dirge
waves swirl in vitrage glory
ram's horn calls
aquarius pours
constellations turn in mozart affirmation

this, then, is my week-long vacation
an infinity of time
warped sweet, wrapped in days
my socks are warm
my shoes carry me over barely sprouting fields
kiwi fruit in my kitchen
long simmering lemon grass tea in my pot

a lover in bed
an invitation on hold
this, then, is my vacation
all illusions welcomed
all realities singing harmoniously in time

this, this, this then
is my vacation

"constellations turn in mozart affirmation"... enjoyed.

this one zooms back and forth between "throwing a net over the universe" and a rich moment or two leading up to the throw, or so it struck me...

seems infinity (of time) may never be quite enough.

thanks so much for reading mnaz
the mozart line is perhaps the most objective line - i mean, it's a fact, no?
and yes, back and forth - it's all so large yet so special in details - what is a week vacatio - so much and yet so little.
It's what it is, and i'm grateful.

today, up to Haifa. Perhaps there'll be photos.

Yes. It is what it is, and grateful seems a good place spend time, whether completely "yours" or otherwise... So it would seem.

Yes. Photos, hopefully.

three parts
an afirmation
sometimes a pause
sometimes a gentle bridge
