Variations on a Bullet's Wings

Post by e_dog » December 13th, 2007, 1:24 am

Despite all the raves
I am still just a brat underage...

Inspite of the maid
I will never get my bed made...

Even though you paid
it seems that you'll never get laid...

Except marmalade
Do you have anything on your blade?

Despite Platos' Cave
I am still just an Athenian slave...

Inspite of the haze
I can still find my way in this maze!

the pome reminds me of the three stooges

and i don't know why, but...

Oh now I remember this one... starts with "the world is a vampire", or something like that...

yes, yes. theres a song called a bullet with butterfly wings. by the counting pumpkins, or somthing.

its chorus goes "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage."

Pretty much sums up the the course of late twenty-century Western youth rebellion....
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.
