escapism

the jury is still out, sequestered,
somewhere in a motel along the interstate.
poetry is not emotion, but escape from same.
justice is not a moment, but sweet time.
science is not time, but temporal exile.

in light speed orbit i could return to the future.
i can't imagine time; it was never worth the time,
the warp orbit or obit of a mad craftsman.
no one thinks like einstein anymore,
up against so much astronomy.

do i dare disturb the epochs?
i should lay down in the midst of them,
here, now, fete and banquet the buddha.
do i dare disturb a silent bloodline,
or a politician's wettest dream?

Not half-bad! Though better to use active than repeated passive (tobe ornottobe, which is to say to izz, or not to izz)
