God created man in its image.
War created peace in its image.
Sound created fury in its image.
Fiction created truth in its image.
Cure created disease in its image.
Art created nonsense in its image.
History created history in its image.

And vice versa.

Desire created suffering
Narcissus had an Echo
And a mirror Image

makes no sense to me
Why narcissus gets all the ink
poor echo
such a silly girl

nice poem

please pardon the ramble
had nothing to do with your pome
the title just triggered the myth
as if that meant anything.

Personally, I go for this in the vice versa.
Which probably explains alot. Heh.

Either way though, I dig it.

Yeh, that version ain't bad either, I guess...

Man created god in its image.
Peace created war in its image.
Fury created sound in its image.
Truth created fiction in its image.
Disease created cure in its image.
Nonsense created art in its image.
History created history in its image.

y verse vice-a.

(gotta verse vice...)

Man looks into his narcissistic coffee
sees himself beautiful
chops a rib from his deity-side
and casts a woman's shadow

man looks into his narcissistic coffee
sees his eye reflection
bitter caffiene wow relflection
coffee breath, new woman shadow, skin

man looks into his narcissistic coffee and overthrows the hours

Geof it seems like every think I know is wrong
So much of what I learned in school relating to the life sciences is outdated, outmoded, and just wrong. So much of what was mysterious when I took biology is now known, or so the priests in white lab coats tell me now.

Weismann talked about the continuity of germ plasm. If I remember correctly he said germ plasm is immortal. a bit of always survives into the next generation.

Sorry for the lecture.
Mirror's spook me these days
no bullshit geof
a dam good write
I would call it a poem except that I don't know jack shit about poetry.

Weismann advocated the germ plasm theory, according to which (in a multicellular organism) inheritance only takes place by means of the germ cells—the gametes such as egg cells and sperm cells
