Self to me.
You who! yOu who.
Inner screams
of a fading magnet.
"unhand me hearts of steal"
"get over it, men are tin".
Out of control,
towards silvery pathways.
Songs in my head,
naps every afternoon.
Me to self.
Who you? wHo you

Sometimes we stop to chat. I knew she has a bird, a cockatu. She has had it for twenty years she told me once. Today she told me it used to belong to her husband. Then she says he just left it. A moments silence, a look, not sure what the expression was not anger not sadness, bewilderment?
She just looked bewildered, because of how he could just walk off like that and leave the bird. Maybe he did it as a kindness, something for her to remember him by. But I was thinking of tin men and hearts that steal.
Sorry for the ramble
"Inner screams", interesting
geof parson had a line about "silent screams"

i donno who i
but i got over it a long time ago.... didn't i?
i don't think so. Of course I did.
And didn't.
Love that "men are tin" phrase. Nice!
gotta oil 'em, too
or else they fall right out on the frickin yellow path and can't get up again, sometimes
but that's why there's a wizard, of course...
which reminds me, i need to go off to see mine ... i could use a new heart, some courage, and whatever else he's giving out
thanks for the reminder and for an interesting piece.... i've read it a few times ... it's one of those pieces you can read all kindsa shit into
sing me some of those songs in your head, ok? your voice is magic

"hearts of steal"...
I can relate, Hes.
Some sort of energy thing.
I'm in a bad "career" again,
and the govenment still thinks
I'm rhetorically programmable...
It's getting closer to road time,
perhaps...
