When I grow up, I'll probably learn to keep my mouth shut.
When I grow up, I can drive and have sex and booze
When I grow up, I'll have to pay the bills, take an afternoon snooze
When I grow up, I'll have to take things seriously
When I grow up, I'll have to worry about voting and my ills
When I grow up, there is jury duty and doctors and pills
I don't wanna grow up

You don't want to have booze and sex?
Are you Petered out?
What's next?
No more Wendys?
How could you do without?
heh

better to grow up rather than growing out,
but the real trick is growing old without knowing it.

This is probably pretty obvious, but your poem reminds me of Tom Waits' I Don't Wanna Grow Up:
When I see the 5 oclock news
I dont wanna grow up
Comb their hair and shine their shoes
I dont wanna grow up
Stay around in my old hometown
I dont wanna put no money down
I dont wanna get me a big old loan
Work them fingers to the bone
I dont wanna float a broom
Fall in love and get married then boom
How the hell did I get here so soon
I dont wanna grow up

Nor do I.
It is found lacking.

Sorry, I misunderstood.
In the poem, you say
When I grow up, I can drive and have sex and booze
Then later you say
I don't wanna grow up
So, I figured you decided you didn't want booze and sex any more. I was feeling rather sorry for you.
Glad to hear I know you better than that!
