- VANITY FARE -

Post by HaroHalola » April 2nd, 2008, 9:32 am

...No one
said not to lock
his dentures in with
superglue - crazy! -
oh, the hassle
of messy bonds 'n creams
touted, shouted-by
his tuned-out brainscape
by grinpaid performers by-the-by
onto dogmeds-by-Mail...

and the Postman
hardly rings anymore,
from his sabbatical to
Viagra, falls to
the Winterchill &
a glue stick
used for chapped lips, probably
why...

She used to concern
in-the-Day, &
especially in the Night
to show her Heart now striving
perfectly, the change
clear
watered-down
to cloaked Heart
& to shown bra straps'
Wonder...

and on the Street
Corpse
with
"all to sell & nothing to tell"
'cept how to perform
necropedopheliate, says
Who?, Sesame, get thee
to a Nonery, ain't
the suum cuique, enough!...

Tucks just ain't
for fryin'-burnin' hemorrhoids, nay
butt for the imagunprecedented procedurers
of anatomical wonderments
above 'n below-below
propriety...
a lips' service unspoken...

Balms, not bombs, Neo-
cons
swell the Earth-swollen foul
child, amok children
celestrials ben Celestials
under-standing not; sullen
and distempered, They!

TY for the Comments, pleased I have provided a chuckle, & you likewise a smile re: my Work; I am humbled by your graciousness. And speaking of "ness," hope your Dad did not encounter the "Loch" ness when gummed, might have provided for sticky, dangerous situation, analogous to, perhaps, traipsing barefooted in a bog, or pasture, on shattered Glass running from a Cow - H'H./H.e.m.

C./My Poetry...

C. - Jeez, what a Revelation for moi! TY, file mou - we do meet in the most interesting places; yes, I would concur with your assessment of The Good Book, with Plenty... However, be cautious 'bout that drachma-thing, The Nazarene gave "my forbears" what-fer in the Temple 'bout It, so make reasona-bly certain your attitudes meet with currency; but, OK, I'm rather-flattered you'd prefer my Scriptures above(?) the Above? Heady-stuff, amigo, you honor Me, & sincerely hope Dante's not lurking about contemplating to abandon The Inferno for a more current ReWrite/Tome; that Comedy would be somewhat-less Divine! Ciao - H'H./H.e.m.

Bra vo HH: your Hart Crane-meets-some North Beachian snob-speak reads vaguely LKish---, that is pre-moderatrix phase. Who could fergit the Best o LK? Wild cyber-rimbaudian jass, like Headburner, The Mingo, Holy Goof Rain 70 (sometimes) .......even Jammy's bestest..............

Ah greet you at the beginning of, like, some interesting spam projection.

Arcadia/My Poetry

Post by HaroHalola » April 3rd, 2008, 10:34 pm

I suppose 3-4,000 Posts is an entitlement to appell; however, thanking you for the attention to my Work, primarily, & requesting/acquiescing to "H." for Friends (or multiple-posters), or H.H., or Haro will do, I find when "Harold" is proffered, unless I am concomitantly tapped on the shoulder, I usually do not respond too often... However, dear Acadia, if you must, "Harold" (actually "H.E.," a professional usuage) is fine. BTW, my Writing has experienced many's attentions & Comments, but I cannot recall It's being assessed as "Zig-Zag," curious b/c as the Poems roll from my Channeling Mind to the tongue, & then the PC Word, there are no "papers" involved," but I don't recall... TY for the gracious welcome... Do let me in (though I believe I glean your meaning) on Zig Zag. H'H./H.e.m.

Well I've read this thing a few times and it leaves me confused.
I mean, I like it....am drawn to it, but I don't understand it it seems all over the place, zig zag if you will. It made me a little dizzy!
I can only surmise that confusion to the reader is your goal, and I commend you for that.

Nearly pro there and faintly......Shelleyan, or similar at least.......sire. As EP said, make it new. Which is to say Shelley (or EP) must reinvent hisself, constantly, while he risks offending, like, neo-cons, or narcissists, nobodies, charwomen of the reich

Well, seems in your Comments/Crits. I'm to embark on a Literary journey thru your knowledge/erudition/& cryptics-command; this intrigues & challenges, uplifting the tenets of my Work. Your comparisons are depth-finders, & I anticipate the notion of the plumbing having but incipience... I am looking forward to reciprocity, & TY for the astute, guided-attention, which has remarks more-than-worthy of concerted response. Let us not misconstrue (nay, dismiss) "offensiveness" (offense=defense?) for "Information", for the lemmings' slumber has (minutely-by-minutely) begun to erode into Nightmare; we are the purveyors of the sadglad tidings!
