I'm coughing like Kafka
the insects are everywhere
they ask for my identification
then look at me all crazy
when I tell them that my
metamorphosis is in progress

a 2004 Supreme court ruling says
that the insects can ask me for my name
but they can't ask me for my ID
that's a fine distinction for an insect
who hasn't been to law school

when you fly under the radar
you fly low and slow
gliders are perfect
for sliding over checkpoint charlie silently

Can I see some ID, sir?
Fuck You, insect.

"there is no situation that a cop can't make worse." ~ jason aka feral

I think that is how he said it. I would add rent a cops doubly so.

In Athens during the fifth centrury BCE
The cops were slaves
One citizen could not have police power over another so they gave that power to slaves. Go figure.

take care clay
I doubt if he was an insect
I am pretty sure he was a mammal.

Thanks for writing

I am glad you you have not lost your sense of humor

the thing is, jack

I'm a lousy editor of myself because I fall in love with my words and I can't bear to lose them. It's sick. Makes me say too much.
