The Cruise (song for Fiolex Girls)

On Sappho blue erotic seas
of pheromone injected flocks.
One consequential flying vee
did open sunken treasures locked.

A quickly darting bill of pink
A quid pro quo in lapping waves

She’ll trade the marlin spike me thinks,
to swab the deck of galley maids.

So gone the sleeping seaman's sweat
So strong the tempting angel prows
So come the swell of freedom met
Saluting sailors not endowed

Welcome to the Studio, emel.scott!

I had to google Fiolex Girls and I'm glad I did 'cause I'm now very font of it. Matter of fact, I heart it. But, I'm a typesetter, so what did you expect?

Your poem was neat
reminiscent of Yeets
Or maybe it was great
reminiscent of Yeats.
A rhythmic sexy piece ....
that Fiolex Girl.

But seriously... takes talent to write such perfectly metered end rhyme and the verbiage and images were nice, too.

Looking forward to reading more from you. Good to see you here! I'm glad you found us. :)

Thank you Perdida, nice to make your aquaintance. I've had a tough time with some of my rhyming pieces, they don't seem to be in great favor these days. Which I don't much care about 'cept they take me days, weeks, months, sometimes years to finish and it's always nice to get some feedback. I'll post more here...as for you D, thanks and I would have been here a lot sooner except I couldn't do the math! (btw I left you a reply on PIB ;)
