Recorded at the South Street Studio, and an attempt to say why Liberalism has such a bad press -- at least on the Anglo side of the pond. Go here to listen:

it's good to hear your voice, peter
I'm hard-pressed to say what liberalism is
Pontius Pilate was a liberal?
Who knows? I think the terms liberal and conservative have a different definition every morning.
I enjoyed the recording.

Thanks for that. I'd go along more or less with Alan Paton, who said: “By liberalism I don't mean the creed of any party or any century. I mean a generosity of spirit, a tolerance of others, an attempt to comprehend otherness, a commitment to the rule of law, a high ideal for the worth and dignity of man, a repugnance of authoritarianism and a love of freedom.”
