i have a teenager cat
we bought him at the pet store
one of the twins came home to his sleeping father
"look daddy look what we got"
ooooh noo still asleep he said
somehow our family cat has become a young man checking out the pussy in the neighborhood
we hear woow wooow like meow and wow mixed together
from the hillside
everyone, all the other animals listen in with a knowing glance
enjoy it while ya can sonny
soon you ll be like us
without nuts
it is true
you have to let them get some before you sacrafice
the flesh
so they do not get wierd and fat
today it was 90 degrees in Portland
most people really like it
i lived in california, hawaii, and africa. The sun is too hot to handle
australia i got sunburned in five minutes
like a lil lobster
when i came home today
i watered the plants
you could hear them taking a long cool drink of water
the trees were watching
i gave them dog bowls of water
the hose wont reach
so i find myself like the cat
wanting another hose
roses look exasperated
sweating in the sweltering heat
petals melting to the earth.
i privately take sides with the plant life

i want to grow like a vine into the dream state

i like how the poem drifts in a coordinated stream of expression. and it's funny.

what a beautiful day
the soft summer breeze
we were talking about husband numer three
my son said" he was always an island rat mom"
"you tried to transform him"
"he is always going to have a couple of beers in the morning, surf all day and smoke a jiont at sunset"
i had to laugh.
what a great character description "island rat"
brings on so many
visual ideas
he was an ice box fisherman too. Hang around the pier until the real fisherman get back, and hope they give you a fish out of their ice chest.
so may ideas, so little time
they come on and I cannot type fast enough

wow car insurance is cool
all these years of payments and i finally get to use it.....

i miss the good ole days, the hippie communes and the loud music and dressing in a wild fashion.I miss the "take a chance" risk of hitchiking, i wish there were less serial killers and wierdos.
but i love life. i love the garden I am obsessed with, killing blackberries one by one, I look as if a wild cat was in my arms and escaped. But it is so beautiful. peace
