black-market gastropods

they sold for a premium since being outlawed
it works the same for any commodity
the best thing that ever happened to pussy
was when they made it illegal

but today it was snails in my cigarette
I'll put it on the beach and disappear
a phantom meeting with the dawn
who knows what the cargo will be tomorrow

I remember hearing a song,I think, somewhere, Lightning, about a man and the cargo he was carrying. your piece brought it to mind but I can't remember how exactly it all went...the person who played me that song passed on almost a decade ago now, made me think of her too...anyways, good piece,Lightning...
