To My Soul Sister

May I have the seat next to you on the cosmic train?
You look like a sane person
And I could use some sane conversation
In my state of mystic madness.
I pray to the cosmic Godhead
For your safe and happy passage
Through time and space, all the time.
I wish you bountiful orgasmic bliss and sensual abandon.
And transcendent states of total liberation
From the Karmic wheel.
I wish you magical sunsets
In the Fellaheen desert.
I often imagine what it would be like to meet you.
We'd take Ginsberg’s Green car,
And watch the road unfold in psychedelic land.
Kerouac's peripatetic journeys
Would pale in comparison to our Zen journey.
We'd talk existentialism and post modernism
And even Forrest Gumpism
As our car speeds through
The darkened American phantasmagoria.
Each bump would jolt our awareness.
By the time we reached the Pacific
All would be clear.

sure, i can do sane
but if we can sing abba & mika songs at the top of our lungs and eat cheese sandwiches while painting our toe nails psychedelic colors. that would be groovy too
and ps. everything is as clear as it's supposed to be...

John - I will inform President Jefferson you have reached the Pacific but
have left word that you won't be returning to St. Louis with the rest of the Corps of Discovery. I know you will be taking the Indian woman with you but not as guide. Good Luck & bon voyage, cousin!
p.s. - righteous read, John, "Sparkle on the Monkey Train" !

Judih! We'll travel the celestial road into a parallel reality.
Hester, you're welcome aboard. However, we're going by car. Buckle your seat belt. We're in for a ride!
Lightning Rod, bus you say? We're going by automobile. However, I can understand your apprehension.
Saw welcome aboard the Love car! Thanks for the enthusiasm. You put a sparkle in myne eyes.
SmileGRL, my darling. Of course we can paint our toe nails, sing, and eat cheese sandwichs. What would a road trip be without a little weirdness? I'm so glad to have you aboard.
mtmynd, hot damn! Thank ye most kindly.
Westie there is a seat for you at the table always. You are my VIP.
The mingo, I love the Lewis and Clark story. The Ken Burns flick is great. You put a smile on my face.
John
