I felt this subtle change
like the caribou do
when there is a shift in magnetic north
and it is time for migration

yes, the iron filings had shifted
something was different in the solar system
forces were not ordinary

then I remembered
judih was in my hemisphere

My heart compass is pointing due north

I feel her too clay.

mercury's falling
barometer points and beckons
rains up and shore's all toasty

where the sun don't shine
