Secret Service

Post by Lightning Rod » August 7th, 2008, 5:42 pm

Not many people know this:
I am a member of the Secret Service

I'm so secret that I don't even have sunglasses
or a walky-talky wedged into my ear

Deep Cover is my job description
you could mistake me for a passerby or
a casual observer

this is the price of constant vigilance
nobody sees your night-sweats
or your work. It's in the contract.

They call it non-disclosure
I call it Omerta, the vow of silence
husssshhhh
don't tell anybody
that I'm in the Secret Service
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

Damn Lightnig!!!!! The office just called. Because you posted this we are going to have to take you out. As I write this there are two solid black Escalades with tinted windows speeding towards your location with several operatives trained to elimate problems within this service. You should have kept your colvert activities to yourself.

Funny you should mention white. I came across the Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel today and exited the interstate at the fishing docks in Newport News and was followed by two identical quite large white SUVs with tinted windows and both had government tags. I turned right towards town. They turned left towards the docks. This is where I came up with the Escalade idea. This really happened today. I believe because there are so many Mexican laborers working the fishing docks that the two vehicles were INS agents checking green cards. I'm just glad they didn't follow me.
