Creepy boy

Creepy boy,
and his two sad dogs.
Shades are drawn,
windows closed,
it's 90 degrees outside.
Creepy boy lies in bed all day.
When he turns over
you can hear tails thumping
on a dirty floor.
Then they stop, dashed again.
Creepy boy gets up
in time to crack a cheap beer.
The first of 20.
You can hear happy hearts breaking.
No going for a walk today.
Creepy boy enjoys this pitiful power.
This wordless weakling rule,
of golden stingy pats,
food fed, after way too long a time.
God, how I love those dogs.
I try to channel thoughts
into their waggy heads.
Bite the bastard! Hard!
Rip his leg off, run away!
Leave shitpiles on the floor.
Then make your escape.
I'll wait for you
down the alley,
take you somewhere.
Anywhere, would be better than this.

gandhi said something to the effect that you can judge a society, or a man, by how they treat their animals - how they treat those weaker than themselves. to me, that carries as much weight as the golden rule - a corollary and extension of it.

Yeah I got a plan, and it's already in action.
First off, I got myself outta there, and I can't believe the beautiful place that I am in now...it's too beauteous to describe....and cheaper!
2nd of all, I'm reporting the neglect of the dogs to the pound, and to a news station problem solver.
I also got in touch with a family member of this dude's, gave them a week to get the dog's out before I do anything.
Thanks for reading.
The dude tried to stalk me too, but I scared the asshole off, scrappster that I am.....heh, he was a wimp I can't forget soon enough. I have definitely learned a lesson or two here.
It was a nightmare. I feel so bad for those dogs man....breaks my heart.

having a cup of coffee
and wondering how to start my day
reading the posts
trying to get the message
as to the universal
and that which is personal
anecdotes merely expressing
the time of its happening
and the freedom to express it
that which accompanies
a telephone call
and how it all attracts
and moves
toward the positive and constructive
becoming
the stranger inside myself
crawling out of the cryptic

When I saw the title to this one I thought it was going to be about John Edwards.

Until I read 'trucking's reply, I didn't see this. When I originally read it, I read it wrong. I didn't understand that you already solved the living situation and found some place nice. Damn internet. I spend too much time here and read too fast trying not to miss anything.
I'm very happy to hear this!

this made me smile,
good luck with your puppy dog liberation, everyone whether they walk on two legs or more deserves love, freedom, and happiness.

I'm saddened to hear about this. Jeez. I hope I have the presence to challenge this sort of of injustice as thoroughly as you did, if confronted directly with it.
