can you have pizza without tomatoes?

Post by sweetwater » August 10th, 2008, 11:45 am

to make or not to make ... that is the question
whether tis nobler in the mind to take arms against a sea of pepperoni
or to wage distance to be or not
and thus by the nobler delinquent offerings of cheese and onions
to suffer the arrows of taste and beer and outrageously priced
large oven baked with tomatoes and anchovies
yes definitely anchovies
the saltied aftertaste of quenched gulps and hiccups
in the god particle called tomato and organic life
and occasionally being tipsy
which is not a crime leading to anything
other than eating pizza etc
or
maybe leading into an intolerance
of yeast filled carbonates
bursting with full force
upon the frozen bite sized gases
and how it all adds up or subtracts
to beer

and the greatness you feel after having conquered
and by opposing them the crusted pieces you leave on your plate
to die and sleep no more
perchance to dream
aye there's the rug that you laid
on filled with the meditated embrace of a full belly and novel
that you used for a pillow
as you slept to dream no more

aye
i say tis a consummation
devoutly to be poeticized in romanticized numerics
by the roundness of a palatted indifference
as to how you look with big honking chomps
on the greatness of your creation
and pizza

voila!

who knew that Hamlet was Italian?
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."
