a shallowness
that is difficult
to respond to
as if to suggest
only the shallow
would respond?

no - that's just
the expressed insecurity
of the stranger inside myself

Well it should scare you. I always stay at the deep end of the pool, then if I drown, at least people won't laugh at me (any more then they do already at least)

sweetwater - i love your reply, thank you! :)

hest .... you're a dear. thanks much. :)

Lrod - ..... I have nothing to say about burnt spoons. Yuck. :)

emel - I don't know where this came from. I found it in my notes. I mean I don't remember the inspiration for it. Someone probably called me shallow. Oh well. I guess that's their shallowness showing. I know how easily I can drown. :)

truckin .... thanks very much, friend :)
