with their green-eyed compassion,
with their pot-smoking stepmothers,
with their comical lack of attention to profit,
with their Rasta reverb bouncing off mountains of Mars,
broadcasting live from the surface of terminal numb.

Liberals ruined the Milky Way, sprayed graffiti on it.
They even tried to steal my sprayer, the bastards,
not a prayer.
They tried to pay some kind of cosmic bill.
They talk well but lack the will.

they even tried to steal my sprayer! the american political scene is pathetically funny. liberals - conservatives, pragmatic liars capable of anything except the public good. don't get me wrong; i'll vote for obama if simply out of desperation and fear of the fembot.

the rush limbaugh crowd are masters of spin...they astutely figured out that politics and hollywood are the same thing.....every speech
is a performance, every deliverance a starring roll that John Q. Public
will rate on its thespian qualities not its substance...the right has
effectively transformed the word liberal into cowardly, limp-wristed,
no-stomach-for-the real-battle, commie, junkie, tree-hugging,
lily-livered loser.....the genius' in politics is not work on actual positions
on the issues, just the tough talk, cuz, I mean who do want running things...certainly not a liberal pansy.......enjoyed this one, Nazz

This is what happens when you spend all day arguing politics on the net. Your brain turns into partisan scrambled eggs. Or you write demented hyperbole. Maybe both...

I remember a Sat. Night Live sketch from the Reagan/Bush years called "The Last Liberal", which showed a bespectacled guy with long-ish hair running for his life from various menacing rightwingers who were all laughing maniacally, finally escaping to his cave hideout...
