State of the Art

state of the art is a bore
pushing the envelope is a chore
I want a seed with no parent
an idea never thought before
thoughts are whores, can be had
mass produced and patented
I want a virgin cherry never been popped idea
I want to be wide eyed and amazed
dazed by the realization
in a sudden new land
but death is the only mystery
I have yet to explore
state of the art is such a bore

The sole purpose was to push your poem back up to the top.

Maybe we should all do it.
Just find our own poems and type "oops" to get them back up to the top.
What a plan!
When I said it was "clever," I was being a little sarcastic. Maybe I should have used an emoticon. Which one expresses sarcasm? hmmm

You're absolutely right. Which is why intelligent people reading your attempts to call me stupid will easily realize that it's bullshit.

So, if you were smart, you'd cut it out, because it just makes you look foolish. You'll have to find your own emoticon for foolish. I don't have one.
My post in reply to your "oops" was saying clearly that I recognized the purpose of it but was also implying that I don't think it's all that cool to "oops" your poems back up to the top spot.
Of course, you can do whatever you want.
I've kicked my own poems up top before. Usually I add something to the thread when I do it, though.
