Lady Baboon
and Sir Guerilla
wave to the crowd
below them.
The throng roars
in undecipherable chants,
"we need food,
we need shelter"
Cock and bitch
feel the heat,
they can't be beat.
"My friends"
chimps Sir G,
"I will keep you
safe from all that
harm out there,
that waits to get you".
Ms Baboon
shrieks righteous,
adding,
"I will put your house
on Ebay!"
The crowd,
the multitudes,
roar even louder,
"we need food,
we need shelter".
(Look at my thumb.
Gee they're dumb.)
Mighty guerilla
beats his hairless chest,
while babs introduces
her pregnant
half human, half baboon
daughter.
The theme song
for desperate housewives,
(sung by Barry Manilow)
booms across the stadium.
Baboon girl and
POW POW guerilla boy
hold hands,
look at each other,
smirk,
win.

Yes it is harsh.
Sometimes I feel harsh about things.
For me the whole McPain/Palin thing is harsh, almost too harsh to bear.
Perhaps I shouldn't say anything when I feel this way, I dunno.
Seeing is believing....
I'm really sorry if I offend anyone....

Only us apes hester, us big sad apes.
It is a good thing there are no baboon and guerilla lawyers. I think they could sue you for defamation.
I don't dwell on it much Hester, so much to keep up with. I just read the poetry on studio eight, It is better than CNN.
I like apes a lot, lemurs even more.
I think we have devolved from lemurs.

Indeed Still, it's a good idea to just stick to studio eight and the brilliance here.....I hope they never take that away from us.....
Thanks for understanding....

Nice fire, Hest.
Yeah that whole exclusive Right Wing co-opted "patriotism" dog and pony show is very tired and transparently unconvincing at this point. Or at least it should be. "ONLY WE CAN PROTECT YOU FROM THEM"!!.... But what will protect us from the GOP?

Right down to the bodies falling out of the WTC at the end of the dog and pony show. oops I meant convention
which is why Ken Olberman got canned because he took offense at that.

imaginative and straight as a true arrow.....I'm glad some of us are OK writing and posting in whatever state of mind we happen to be in....we're all friends here, really and I like knowing that other humans
have mood swings like I do....nice work, hest.............

square on the head, hester. these are times that demand direct confrontation - no need to mince words - they are fascists, pure and simple. they confront us every day in every way - they have made themselves very clear - let's reply no holds barred.

the state of things is harsh.
you have idiots that say the same thing over and over and over even though the know it is bull shit, we have words based on the word of a cab driver from new deli or some shit.
we have people coming back from these place fucked up and making the "homeland" more fucked. the hells angels came out of wars and disillusionment, and they are harsh.
life has always been harsh.
it is harsh that people believe in the bull, that some people don't and they think walking around with signs still does anything. it is sad that all you have is your vote, but then again maybe not.
harsh=sad=creative
at least for me. you would never have any of this great writing and inspired shit with out HARSHness.
it was harsh and somewhat funny.
I enjoyed it. I just read it again
