Sensitive

Sensi finally decided
to leave tive,
despite having been
one word with him
for centuries.
She put on her fedora,
stuck her tongue out,
slammed the door,
and left.
She sensi'd
an immediate shift
in herself,
without that
t i v e tail.
As if shackles
had been lifted
from her very soul,
as if she might very well
be able to fly,
in the vast broadness
of what she sensed.
It was revel rousing,
to be freed from that
boorish old
grammatically correct
suffix,
holding her prisoner
since the first writes.
Without tive,
sensi could mingle
from her gut
full throttle.
Transparent with
the moon,
fired up with sun.
The very air and light
were more than
precious like,
now that tive
had been severed
from her word origin.
What an ish he was.
Tive and ish should
get compounded.
(Tiveish.)
(Drop the e maybe.)
Avid describers like that
deserve each other.
Sensi wants
no part of it.
In fact,
Sensi is gone already.
Melded into a vibe
off a high energy driven circle
of now.
Tivelessy rendered,
into who she is
at any moment,
which forces her,
to forget who she was
