top ten reasons why Lrod wants to be a talk show host:
there is only one reason really
so I can have writers

It's much easier to HAVE writers than to BE a writer
I just want to read from the teleprompter
let my team invent the jokes

my writers would fear me of course
when I walk into the smoke filled office
they would all try to look busy

the smoke is piped in
and I make them work on old manual typewriters
so they can't plagiarize from the internet

If I want a poem or a novel or an autobiography
they work overtime with no by-lines
every writer needs to HAVE writers

Funny stuff. A ghost writer for a writer. lol

I tell ya what... if you can get a deal for a novel, I'll stand in for you and write it.

You can have 25% and go on all the talk shows. I'll take 75% and pay for our flight to the bahamas to celebrate.

Talk show host... Yes, now there's a gig if you have that sardonic delivery. Yeah, the jokes and autobiographies-- I knew about them. But novels?

I like the throwback bits here-- "manual typewriters" (no lazy internet cheating), & "the smoke is piped in". Funny.
