the bells in her voice & the way she knits her r's into jersey'd sounds made me trust her. for a second. such a silly second. and she used it against me with a smile on her face & yes, still, that bells ringing, clinging, tingling in my ears…

he says it's because i'm weak
& he does it with a hug…

she says it's because i'm strong
it's because i'm too nice
it's because he's proud of me

how did i get here?

but more importantly, why do i? put myself here everyday

i don't know if the problem is that i trust too easily
that i expect too much from others
or that i try too damn hard

or maybe it's all of the above

It made me smile! I only have a sister-in-law, she is a non-active psicologist, nearly mute and from calabrese parents! She has been my sister in law since ten years... now is part of the landscape!
