what winds may say

over the bridge
a low layer of clouds
keeps it a little warmer.

bridge rattles
& grey dapples
like light should.

it's not freezing
but at night
sun sneaks weak
thru thinner clouds.
shines a grey gold haze.

days sink down the incline
despite designs to the contrary
night darkens a tighter grip.

days sink down
into the decline
under the within.

**

if i could see into a box
where i was playing
in a play

about me
b.c what else would it be about?
though it might appear
to be about nothing.

parts of it repeat
to little result
with an air of errors.

did you mean to say that again?
i don't recall saying it the first time.

**

warm in winter.

how common is that?
more or less so?
more or less snow?
blessing or disaster?

a train on a bridge
ferries folk in any weather.
sky shows signs of changing weather
different kinds of air intermingle.
wet warm cold dry.
with a vast array
of possible results.

the weather.
any direction.
ups lows highs downs.
what winds may say.

seasons come and go. come and go
sometimes quite contrary to the weather
& sometimes the acts repeat itself inside the play
because we've learned the lines before...or.
wait! are we playing here? is this just a play?
i thought we were talking about the weather...
no, this is life, baby. sometimes you freeze
and sometimes you take the train
because the bridge is too slippery.
in any case, remember to fly...

much enjoyed mr. mindbum...very. (specially "days sink down/into the decline/under the within")... thanks for the playdate
