Past lives in a suitcase

Past lives in a suitcase.
Old notebooks.
Diaries.
Written in
a youthful cursive.
Stages of a life
wailed in pen.
Embarrassing.
Regrettable.
Self absorbed.
All my dreams
transformed,
into inky little deaths
of knowing.

"wailed in pen"... that's really good, Hes. Me dig.
Seems there are always at least a few "nuggets" of a more universal nature in those earlier, more self-absorbed accounts... all "part of the journey".

sometimes I can hardly believe some of the things I said, wrote, did...it's like it's a total stranger.....each decade a complete remake...
in retrospect it was nothing more than growth pains, necessary and unavoidable stretches of muscle, bone, plasma, neurons, the whole shebang.....nice economy emphasizes your story.........
