how would you describe when a sweater gets worn out and it has like little fluff balls kind of like the butts of worn swimsuits- does anyone knowwhat i'm talking about?

i would describe them as little roughed out fluff...but does that resonate?

i'm wondering because to me "worn out sweater" doesn't quite get at the texture i'm talking about....damn.

How bout Tuff fluffed and fuzzballed?
(Gee. Sounds like some people I know...)
I don't know. A worn sweater is just such a great image as is.....a sweater that has been around you know...something very diggable about that....
