the scalpers are getting upwards of ten grand for a superbowl ticket
you couldn't pay me ten thousand to go to the event
crowds distress me unless they are on the other side of the footlights

but I will be watching the cathode ritual
our soldiers in Iraq will be getting two beers for the event
those in the stadium will pay 5 for a paper cup of foam

police dogs will be sniffing their crotches
but I'll be where the beer is cheap and plentiful
I'll be watching from home

let me know when half time is would you? i heard something about 'the boss' singing for his supper. even though the news was disappointing to me, i may allow about a quarter of an hour to listen to him. any more than that and i'd be a crook.
