For Milady Judih
It has been many moons since we smoked the pipe together. Yet the sweetness of the smoke still lingers in my memory. There are so many emerging realities which besiege us. The golden harp melodies turn to cacophony in the beat of a heart. Shostakovich meets Debussy in contrasting symphonies of discord and peace. When will the aching harmonies surface in rainbow rhythms restored? Here is my lyrical offering my dear Fraulein. The wave of your being washed over me tonight and I seek your wondrous words. Blessed be thee my Madonna of the Levant
