seeing, yet still blinded

...seeing
how death is obligatory
so nonrestricting
and it may be rudimentary
but never depicting

...yet
all is complementary
nothing conflicting
everything is transitory
not a one contradicting

...still
our mindless maturity
is ever afflicting
displacing our purity
to feast on convicting

...blinded
for want of security
we practice predicting
seeing only obscurity
we say life is constricting
...but it's not

how true, your summation, given my particular stage of learning at the time of that writing... I do believe every bit of it, still.

"...but it's not"

This was a good way to end.

Deep thoughts here. I'm not trained well enough to swim further than the shallow end. However, I enjoyed wading in it much. :)
