what if i told you that somewhere
in a parallel universe
two people exactly like us
were in love,
made different choices,
followed their hearts,
lived their dream…
if you thought it could be possible
would that change your next action?
would you choose me this time?
lover,
one day you will kiss me on my red clown lips
& candy hearts will rain from my eyelashes
painting love letters on your soul…
one day it will be real. & these clown lips
will be yours
i will never stop kissing you
and you will think it was always like this
***
ps. i swear i wrote this before i read your raining hearts poem, mr. LRod...great minds, and all that jazz. haha

it all started with a rumi poem and a photo edit. (see my blog, if your wish, for said poem & edit)

I think I've lived that dream before (in a parallel universe).
Maybe it is all just one kiss away. Maybe the parallel universe
is onto something.
ps, I like the 'painted on your soul' line. I'm fascinated in general about the idea of 'painting' something that is amorphous or ethereal, as in when I recently wrote of the sun as 'spray-painted'. Ridiculous, but with some 'poetic play'... Haha.

i just think i might do that.
how many times havent i thought of this? standing on the stage. walking down the street. listening to a voice. thinking: this could be one of those.
one of those crazy eyed mamas on the net, writing beautyfull poems, tearing my heart out of me.
she could be.
she could be.
but she never is.
and I dont know where she is.
and then that shit starts getting to me.
and the world is a place i dont know anything about.
loading up them trucks. day in. day out.
listening to horrible radio music.
what the fuck is this all about?!
fucking snow all around. when it could all be so fucking beautifull!

what if a certain three scientific theories were fact.....then
this post, alone with every conceivable event, ever, has already
happened...not twice, not ten times, but millions of times?
love this piece SG

mnaz...that's when poetry gets interesting (
playful), when you start mixing things that can't mix in the "real" world and still paint a picture for the reader to relate to...
mudshark...yeah. exactly. and to find the balance between fucked up world and beautiful...
walt...we repeat history...or. time is bended. whichever argument you choose...it's all happened before.
thanks for readin...*she curtsies*

SG, the three theories are,
(1) the oscillating universe theory== the big bang.... a recombining of the universe to again explode and reform, repeat, repeat...etc
(2) the quantity of matter==finite or infinite...IF, there is a finite
quantity of matter that makes up the whole universe, then this
quantity, on an atomic scale, can only be reconfigured in a finite
number of possibilities, (ie), if there were only 3 particles, you have
only 9 different combinations available before they will repeat
(3) eternity==is eternity true or false...IF it is true, and combined with the other two theories, (If they are true true), then the whole universe would only oscillate a certain number of times, maybe with only one atom out of place from the last cycle, before it would have
to start repeating a prior cycle, identically..
So, how many times have I told you this? In essence, I would say
that history repeats...only because the dimension of time is a sort
of side effect, that must be combined with motion and space to
function in a manner that we can measure. I believe it is the expansion of space that allows the dimension of time to exist...
and weather the universe is expanding or contracting, time will
still progress, never reverse.
Could it be a loop? I don't believe so. The numbers to calculate a
thing like this will never be realized. Hope this answers your (???)

big bang, repeat, repeat...probably. possibly. & why not.
finite number of matter...energy, maybe. possibilities, i believe, no. because there are infinite choices to make and thus infinite ways a thing can play out. not saying things don't repeat. it does, because we don't learn...or we don't choose something different, but there's always another fork in the road. so no, i don't believe it's a loop in that there is finite matter . but maybe a loop in "we make the same mistakes", yes.
my argument about eternity, yes or no, would be... if time and space are both infinite, then eternity is possible (lots of holes in this statement...blah blah). we cannot fathom this, because we cannot see it, because we're not supposed to see it that way. we're supposed to experience this, here, now. and so, yes, we need space and we need time to be linear to be here and to move forward...to experience life. but i believe souls evolve too and even if that soul takes just one different "step" next time, it's not exactly the same. so i guess i believe (or i want to believe) that infinite possibilities and eternity are possible (...i looped in my argument...haha.)
another question would be, is eternity heaven (you get second chances) or hell (you have to start all over again not remembering)...all these questions and arguments are of course based on the theory of reincarnation (& big bang repeat repeat

)
's all cool. thanks for the sharing of thoughts. more are always welcome.

I agree, the choices and even thoughts we conceive would tend to
make things infinite...but adding calculations using combinations,
permutations and probability, even the number of thoughts, and the
locations of them could be calculated and bring a result...
Who said we're not supposed to see "that way"? Remember, one mind in one person is only operating on a fraction of its capacity..add all minds together, from all humans ever born, operating at 100 percent capacity... that is scary.
And since we are the universe, and vise-versa, why could we not one day realize "it all"? The voids in space are filled, there really isn't any "space". Everything is is connected to everything else.
That is already proved, or being proved now...even though many
centuries ago, the buddhists and others knew this.

SmileGRL, you are the eternal romantic. This poem poses some profound questions and is written with enchanting lyricism. Your word envelope me as though I'd stepped into a Monet painting. Simply sublime.
