Porn

Post by Nazz » March 7th, 2009, 4:13 pm

The world is porn,
except for spare parts.
If I were to rail against war,
decry the fact that we want it,
right away that would be porn,
to rub my language on your ass.

Di-di-di-dac tick.
I swear I'll reform you, taunt you.
I never stop coming, I am relentless,
like the sun on a parch brown glacier.
At least they had water.
I am a warrior.
I will make you wish
you were someplace else.

That was a preemptive reply
Just in case you were.
I did not want to see it disappear

I guess I could have just saved it to my hard drive but I got so many damn hard drives.

Anyone who lived was almost porn.
Anyone who desired perfection was porn.
Anyone who nibbled around imperfection
or wished it was a little less imperfect
was porn. It was all porn.
I'm bored with this rhyme.
I'm hungry.

food porn is particularly exciting
I'd rather watch a Red Lobster ad than eat
with the butter dripping etc

I was thinking of p. 246 of that Joe Campbell book-- the first one I read...
"Art that excites desire for the object as a tangible object he (James Joyce) calls pornographic. Art that excites loathing or fear for the object he terms didactic. All sociological art is didactic. Most novels since Zola's time have been the work of didactic pornographers..."
well, I almost got to the point..
