my words wound you

my words wound you

the sun chases the moon, and i run
out of letters that hang between us
i just want you to understand
how much
the ocean knows

how it gathers the written kisses
through perpetual windows
that we dare not go into:

kenzo spreads it’s wings
leaving you, lifting me
and i fall

fall into the flowing body of your eyes

like driftwood in a stream
flecks of me
suspended there
waiting:

perhaps

my words wound you

like hard water crashing….

crashing.
The path to true love isn't always straight.

it has a smooth warmth and a sense of pathos.

Maree, this washed over me like a surreal dream of emotional power. I feel the emotions like a rushing mountain stream as they enfold me.

I see a spirit speaking the story while gliding over the stream on its way to the ocean...kinda ghostly-like

Exceptional piece and I especially enjoyed the above lines. Poetic gold they are. A unique vision from you is evident and I truely found myself
captured by the words. Well done.
