sea-talk time

looking in side-ways
and up-side-down
you, my ocean
sea-talk me

the far-away island
you reach to touch
from time to time
with words that you wear
on the tip of a wave

un-ironed

when you fall
crashing
to gather the end of me

and i feel all amorosi
and the scream
on my skin
a perfect submersion

of lightning and gulls
of feet running
and shells that touch
the edge of daylight

this reminds me of the wall paintings at the temple of knossos in crete. the playful sea imagery. beautiful.
