Poetry from the Deep Dark Past

Post by Barry » April 15th, 2009, 9:19 pm

Walking to work, I saw a big-titted girl
Learning to walk like a woman of the world.

This one's from 1991 or '92. I never did anything with it, thinking more lines would come.
They never did.

I was 28 or 9 then. I'm 45 now.
She walked with a much older man. Older than me then. Probably younger than me now.
Was he a pimp? A john?
Was she a prostiute?
Who can say?

But she struggled to walk in very high heels.
Like she wasn't used to it.
And he held her arm and guided her.

They never did.
It is perfect

as it is.

The rest of the lines are all in the mind of the reader.
