both hold clever skills
waiting to be tested

I don't get

for benefit given over

but other than than this has a nice, quirky sound to it.

I liked it but for now I can only give you my first reaction.

beautiful analogic poem, I still have to google or search in the dictionary the meaning of marigolds & thistles though! (the sound like goldenflowers and buzzing-whispers!)
