being in love
heartfelt hope
mutually not sure
love felt varies
often dwindles
getting lost
done and over
wasn’t real
wasn’t true
only for awhile
bringing about
the hurt
the guilt
the reality
then too relief
letting go
moving on
and yet
scars remain
love not void
freed of blame
or its liability

Love can have its scars on you, but can the scars themselves be loved by another?

I forgot what love is
I needed a refresher course
So I invented a woman
from her little cartoony avatar
and her sense of humor
and for a few cyber moments I felt like I was walking on the street where she lived.

My Fair Lady

Then I felt helpless
And I am grateful for the feeling of "being in love" that there was this woman who fit like a glove in my lock. and I felt entangled to her down to my smallest bits and atoms.
and she was another of my silicon sister lovers

It was so sweet
and so sad
thank god
geezers thrive on broken hearts
