we have here CNN in spanish that talks like a mix of Utilísmima TV and Fashion Network and TN (without T) mostly plenty of sports and armageddon-like news. It´s somehow previsible, though.

Our congressman from San Antonio(Lamar Smith) was on Fox News last week saying that the greatest threat to America is the liberal bias in the media. Then he thanked Fox news for being the only fair and balanced news source.

Obviously, Mr Smith watches no other news channels...

This reminded of the O'Reilly interview with Richard Dawkins. O'Reilly's speech on "subjective truth" stayed with me. Dawkins was, I think, simply "struck dumb" at that point. While Dawkins is no lover of "postmodern" thinking, it is hard to deal with people who don't seem to understand the point that they themselves are trying to make.
