differing over whether the lines that covered his face
and which elements of sweet sunlight disappeared
into the contrast of an iridescent morning

and can be considered a disguise from what
can be considered real and there to exist a number of
contending perspectives in the intensely brilliant light

in as much as it was testimonial in the witnessing
or a grand claim about the supremacy of love and
the differing viewpoints in quiet repose and shadow
lustrous in the rainbow and daylight

as ardent texture spoke softly the vowels
determined in sentimental motions
and stories of despair and interest
in virtue and respectability

and a passive refusal to efface the sacred

This, of course, may not be what you intended, but I'm stuck with one word in my head: Kant.

Phenomena and Noumena.

Okay, three words.

I'm not sure "passive" is the right word in the last line but that's probably just me.
