why clouds are significant

Post by SmileGRL » July 1st, 2009, 5:20 pm

the day before yesterday, i sat outside. the sky was insipid blue tea sprinkled with marshmallow puffs...somehow i forgot that clouds can be animals. but then i saw a cloud unfolding into angel wings. so quaint and such delightful fluff. if had a camera build into my i, i'd snap that in the blink of an eye. because nobody would believe me. and as always with clouds, it disappeared in seconds. leaving me to wonder what i saw...

***

i reached out to her
& she reached right back
no reservations
no trumpet fare
just angel wings
hugging me deep
that's when i understood
the significance of clouds

through chaos is found order,
but a sign is a sign...
was it the butterfly effect,
or do you often manifest
fanciful cloud patterns...

It causes me to recall
the words in this oldie but goodie...

Like the passing of time, so beautiful, misunderstood and sensed. If only it could all be witnessed that way. Seems I need visual quiet to notice the sky. It always has much to tell, to teach, to simply enthrall. And I love the animals I can see in it.

the activity that never gets old, each session a unique experience

which is better left as a photograph in memory only, trans-formative

in real time......a photo unable to recreate the sequences.....

cool stuff......think I'll go outside , lie down in the backyard.........

walt..."through chaos is found order" yes.

arcadia...it made me feel fuzzy too.

nazz...beautiful reply.

saw...you're right. seeing the transformation happen, recognizing form and then seeing it disintegrate again is part of the magic.

This morning's cloud message over Phar Pepht -

... and Tuesday morning's message in the same skies -

each formation
a continuation
softly whispering
only suggestions
to those that listen
to their daily messages
in homage to life
for all

Thank you for the inspiration, mj...
