by reading what was wrote

when our words meet
universe to universe
do our eyes also speak
how different
the expression sought

when we ask who is perceiving
that which is contained in poem
words do not exist only to word
they gather around to embrace

something is beheld that then
also holds that which is shown
were i to think tree as tree
tree them poem would leave

not leave its senses yet senses
a forest behind each passage
a sun in the ball of darkness
as a sky sees through our hand
