to produce the prodigious in the prolific
only in comparison to other artists of glory and folly
the canvas or the wall becomes the master

so the questionable genius is a comparitive virtue
and a relative realization of one's own greatness
and a humbling exercise into the forgeries
of the present

and while celebrating the fake and inept
the painter calcifies the wall of plaster
into a mural shaping so designed
as to take away the very last breath
of every desire
and the last remaining pieces of cloth
used to sponge the frame
in a play on words
and a glass plated beginning
